  • I was hanging out at one of Tony's gigs last week. We were outside having a smoke, and when he went back in he played a solo and when it was over made a big fist at me and made this wacko face. We both burst out laughing. He is funny as hell, and amazing to a degree that is sick!!

  • Intense.

  • @JogaBonitoAmericanos Thanks for the reply. The best version of her Living without Friday (live) has already deleted. It seems Chihiro attracts Japanese male jazz fans with her looks that appeals to Japanese men. For now, on YouTube, her "YAGIBUSHI (LIVE IN TOKYO)" is what I recommend to you all for a sample of her play. On the VC,

drummer is young but completely does his work. Excellent drummer.

  • @ja121386 chihiro is good, but hiromi's just better all the way around. She has the better band, better skills and improvisation, fusion with other styles, and she's cuter in my opinion.

Check out "Hiromi's Sonicbloom: Time Difference" and "Hiromi plays I Got Rhythm by George Gershwin"

  • Becoming quite a routine with me now. Click a link to a Hiromi song, and add it to my favorites.

Great rhythmic excitement with unbelievable chops by all of them.

  • @jbannon200 Thanks for the reply. If you like, check out Naoko Terai, who is a Japanese female jazz fiddler being loved by Japanese jazz fans for a decade. Cover version of Chick's "Spain" and her original piece " passionata" are what I recommend. You would be charmed by her looks as well as her performance.

  • @0orr

    I agree

  • She's a witch!! :D

  • ... no comments... autêntico " orgasmo musical".

    Peace...

  • HIROMI IS THE BEST PERIOD!

  • I'm a Japanese jazz freak. Currently, there are two famous young Japanese female pianists who are, IMO, the very rivals just like TOYOTA and HONDA. One is HIROMI and the other CHIHIRO. HIROMI is, as far as I know, better known to American. Check out her rival (comrade?) and appreciate the difference in performance. In terms of skills, the two are even and superb. My preference to CHIHIRO may be biased by her looks.... CHIHIRO YAMANAKA "Living WIthout Fridays" live
