  • @dahermitcrab so in the bahamas and places like mexico lionfish are so grossly over populated the only predator they have down there is people, more lion fish we kill the better theyre poisonous and a nuisance not to mention they eat way to many small fish making it harder to survive for other fish that play a much more vital roll in the ecosystem also im not sure what the hell your talking about them living at 100 feat deep every time i go diving i see plenty of them in no less then 20 ft water

  • @scarhbar23 the fish were man introduced!!! if we let the waters evolve around it there wont be any thing left in 5 yrs!!

  • @scarhbar23 lionfish have no natural predators. they eat many younger species of fish and have the potential of killing off full species, species that MANY people rely on for their lively hood...lionfish are evil but the sad reality is, when they reproduce they do so 5-10,000 at a time. so its very difficult to kill them off...

  • Just wandering, not really wanting to argue, but if a fish is invasive (not man introduced), and killin all the other fish, why should humans step in and stop it? If it's the apex predator, then why not let the surroudings evolve to it?

  • way to kill thos disgusting urchents

  • you guys ever have problems with baracudas or reef sharks stealing your fish on that long stringer? I know cudas eat other poisonous fish.....

  • @dahermitcrab did you know that a mature female liondish can reproduce every 30 days laying up to 30000 eggs a time? most dont make it but still they are growing rapidly eating there wieght of fish a day. and since they have no natural predator the goverment has made it legal to kill lion fish of to stabalise there population.

  • @MegaCatfishman1 Hawaiian slings

  • you don't even need to scale them the skin peels off of them so easily it's a waste fo time to scrub off the scales...

  • @MegaCatfishman1 i just love animals thats all. Im from the Bahamas I see alot of people come to my island had hunt our sea animal. One day there wont be alot of lion fish in the wild

  • the best way humans can help the native fish with the lion fish is to not get involved let the native fish adapt if you took basic biology you'd know that ecosystems can adapt to a change but humans are causing the fish to panic and stress out and if you got bit by one you probably did something to aggress it they are a defensive speices and were brought here when a aquariums shipment got loss on its way to florida in a hurricane
