These exercises will target your total abdominal area and zero in on the lower. They're a great way to work your abs without getting your neck, back, and other muscles involved.

Mastering these techniques will help you to get the most out of every other abdominal exercise you do. Not to mention, you'll be able to take on more challenging exercises (like the ones in my advanced abdominal exercise video, functional fitness exercises, and multi-muscle group exercises) and prevent injury while you're at it.

By the way, did you know there's no such thing as "upper and lower abdominals"? The muscles attach the ribs to the hips and go side to side, up and down, and diagonally. However, we can choose exercises that focus more intensely on the upper or lower side of the muscles. That's what we're doing here!
