3,424 pit bull dogs die EVERY day. 1.25 million pit bulls are euthanized EVERY year in 4,000 U.S. shelters. 800 a week in Los Angeles County!

Rescue groups are overwhelmed with homeless pit bulls while breeders are breeding and selling more.

Mandatory spay and neuter laws that impose a breeding ban of MORE pit bull dogs have great potential in reducing these numbers. Until we can humanely house, care for, and adopt out ALL the existing pit bulls, all breeding must be strictly regulated.
