I know a marine fish exporter from Hawaii. He told me that it's not $2 million annual but $20 million annual @ $3/fish. That's 7 million fish/year. "I'm agree this video its a lie" is the new defense--it's lie, unless it serves them. The take is declining, NOT because the reef thieves are good stewards. They testified that Maui has no finger coral and that yellow tangs are endemic to Hawaii--statements precise as randy lbp's language skills.

These are Hawaiian water people, not liars. Aquarium collectors are not fishermen and not environmentalists. They respect the ocean because it can hurt them. Meanwhile, they take all they can, with no regard for anyone or anything but themselves and their "livelehood." Enough of YOUR lying. Leave the reefs alone!

This video is a big LIE! I am a fisherman as well as an environmentalist. As fishermen and divers, we all have a responsibility to take care of the reef so we can keep coming back. Because the ocean is our livelihood, we are always concern about how we treat it and we certainly treat the ocean with the utmost respect it deserves. This is our livelihood, our means of supporting a family and we are not about to jeopardize this gift!!!!! We are AWARE of the responsibility we have to the ocean!

This video is a lie - there is no way that that many fish are being exported from Hawaii. The people who made this video are animal rights activists who have no scientific basis for their claims. The Hawaii aquarium fishery is the most sustainable fishery in the state.
