Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West (movie preview)

I received a free DVD movie in my Sunday newspaper. It had a MSRP of $19.95. For a DVD to be given freely to every subscriber of the paper means lots of money are involved. What person or persons or group or groups would benefit from the promotion of the movie? What person or persons or group or groups would finance the free distribution of the DVD? Could this DVD have anything to do with the present presidential election? I have lots of questions. do you have any comments or questions of your own?

You related Muslims to continents/countries. Muslims are people who follow the religion of Islam. USA and European Nations are countries, not people. Nevertheless, when one disturbs the beehive, one can expect to get stung. And the repercussions do not follow as tit-for-tat. Through-out history, any country that attacked the dominate power in existence ended up suffering the consequences. That's the way it is.

The psychological effectiveness of propaganda is not determined by how closely it is aligned to reality. And the only way to be immune to memetic thought contagions is to be well aware of all the pertinent facts. Creationist propaganda is effective only to the degree that people are ignorant of evolution. Sheep are people who watch a movie thinking their mind is immune to the skillful scare tactics and psychological ploys of the propagandist. My questions were irrelevant to watching to movie.

Ive seen it, and made my disission. It is trying to get people to see that Radical Islamic Terrorists (yes i said that, get over it) are out to destroy our say of life. People need to understand it. Its why im entering the Army after college.

The movie clearly states that it does not talk about muslims as a whole, but only those that are fanatics and would use terror to try to change the world to their beliefs. I believe the video to be true and we in the western world are so blind and so distracted with our western free living, that we do not and don't want to see what is happening right before our eyes.

xeverpinkx2, I questioned the intent of the movie, Obsession, and wondered who could be behind financing the distribution of it. Most certainly the venture was very costly. So I wondered what the motive was. I haven't watched the movie and don't know you so I wouldn't be able to answer your question. However, the Bible inspired the Witch Trials. And the Koran expresses as much or more hostilities towards nonbelievers as the Bible did towards "witches." Thus it may incite you against nonbelievers
