I have a T-maxx 2.5 and raced my friend's 3.3 revo and ended up neck to neck.
+ i broke-in my 2.5 at 350 degrees by mistake till i got a temp gauge a week later.
I think it gave the engine a weird power boost breaking it in at that temp.
now i run at 205 degrees average and can pop wheelies all day long on the same engine never rebuilt.

@gokartking45 i think a 2.5 is better but thats my opinion
-
@gasscooterguy you have to stiffen the rear shocks and you need a good tune aswell beacuse its a 2.5. after that it will pop wheelies ^^
-
how do you get it tuned so good to pop wheelies like thats my t maxx 2.5 cant even get the front wheels off the ground
-
@Jay146992 k thanks
-
@atvsarebeast He gets it to wheelie because he is running it lean and has the slipper tightened all the way.
-
sounds to lean.

stock plastic pipe with a 2.5. however the 2.5 has a bigger head on it, but that does not help power

which one should i get the nitro rustler or the t-maxx 3.3 or 2.5 and why?

t-maxx 3.3 or 2.5, rustler is smaller, weakewr, and would probaly get boaring after a while. a 3.3 maxx would be the way to go

how much of a difference is there if u dont break in properly cause we went out and bought a tmaxx 2.5 and didnt realize that there was special break in so we just drove it very gently assuming that would work.

If you took it real easy for the first few tanks your fine. but if u got on it at all within 3 tanks you probably ruined the piston and sleve~ less compression= less power
