Bill O'Brien, the newly elected Speaker of the New Hampshire State House, recently spoke with Talley.TV about various issues including the Free State Project, the peaceful people currently in New Hampshire cages, why he believes government is necessary and what he'd have done to those who opt out of State "services" that he admits are compulsory.

Thanks to the Kinks for the use of their song "Well Respected Man" and to Talley.TV producer Bob Constantine for helping "get it done." O'Brien is a physically threatening, bully and coward who tries to physically intimidate old women behind closed doors. I personally invite him to slither over to Peterborough and pick on someone much less obese and more fighting fit than his own size. I DARE you!

His speech is honest too -- not weasely/politiciany.
He wouldn't be the right man to hire to eliminate the last 5% of state aggression -- but based on what he is saying here, I feel that I can trust him to reduce aggression in just about every area of government.

I greatly respect Speaker O'Brien for his responses here. While he doesn't believe complete compliance with the non agression principle is possible practically (while I do), I suspect he is probably the only person holding his level of political office, in any state or federally, that really understands the NAP.
The level of honest thought that he's clearly put into this, and his recognition of the force behind government mandates and taxes, is truly refreshing.

@antiquefeminist You want to force people at the point of a gun to participate in your version of "community." I think peaceful people should be free to live their lives without having people like you threaten them with violence for not participating in your ideal version of "community." I'm advocating peace. You are advocating violence against peaceful people. Think about that.

@rogerver We don't agree, at all. I believe in community. If you don't want to be part of
this society, go somewhere else. There's plenty of space in Texas, Idaho, and of course, there's
always Somalia. Don't let the granite door hit ya on the way out.

@antiquefeminist I'm glad we finally agree! People should pay themselves for the roads they drive on and libraries they use!

@antiquefeminist Yes, that is exactly what libertarians feel. That is why we oppose gun control. Because if any one entity has control over all the guns, it's a more dangerous situation for everybody.

@antiquefeminist Ah. That is why there is a crushing dearth of general stores, gas stations, agri. supply stores, etc. etc. in rural areas.
Where there is a social need, there is money to be made solving it. Where there is money to be made, people or companies will come. Simple. It doesn't matter if it's a city or a country.
And what, pray tell, would an 'anarchistic dictatorship' look like? I would like to see it :P
zyodei 7 months ago
@zyodei Twaddle. Great multitudes of entrepreneurs will not come together and produce services for small rural areas. Free Staters do NOT want society to flourish - they want their own brand of anarchistic dictatorship to flourish.

@zyodei That high flown rhetoric doesn't fit in with the way your free state pals are voting in the NH House. They're voting to force girls to serve as incubators. They're voting to repeal marriage equality for gay NH residents. They're voting the way the far religious right Republicans tell them to vote.
