i used to be in this band so thats how i got the rights to use the song. so if you know a band, that can make things easier but if you dont, the process can be long, very expensive, and just overall unpleasant. in that case, it would be better to hire a composer or do it yourself. if you find someone willing to lend you their musid, have them sign a release form saying that they allow you to use their music for your own personal needs
