Shit, I've been looking everywhere for this song.. Best one in the game, IMO. I really liked how they didn't pick some upbeat action packed song for the final boss music, and went with one with a more melancholy tone.

This song is so incredibly wonderful, I really wish I could finish the game. But alas, I'm horrible at video games and therefore I am unable to defeat the wrecking ball thing. *sighs*

not quite. if the old man was shin then shin would have recognized him and besides it's explicitly stated that shin died along with everyone else. And the mask couldn't have been the old man because if you pay attention to the invisible writings on the wall it is revealed that the mask is an embodiment of all of the left over negative emotions of the people that were killed by the glass cage.
