Play the other side of the record, too! If I remember right, it's "Moonlight Mood" done in the same, dreamy style.

My friend, Roc Hillman, played guitar with Kay Kyser (as well as Jimmy Dorsey). Roc is 98 years old and living in a nursing home in Santa Monica California, and I think he just may be the last of the old timers alive!

Terrific song! An overlooked number written by Frank Loesser & Jimmy McHugh for the 1942 wartime movie, "Seven Days' Leave". Kay's talented band was overshadowed by their light-hearted routines on radio's 'Kollege of Musical Knowledge'. The funniest comedian in the band was Ishkabibble, a gifted trumpet player from Erie PA who also served as Kay's orchestra manager. Harry Babbitt was the group's boy-singer; when he went into military service his replacement was Mike Douglas.
