@FckedUpFingers Basically all that's different is the size. The Micro is quite a bit smaller than the XC. Resolution is identical on both, and they have pretty much exactly the same features. Only noticeable one on the XC is that you can set the quality of the video from low to high and there's a small screen on it which displays information. It also comes with a remote and some more mounting options. Personally, the XC Micro does the job for me, since it's basically the same camera but smaller.
@FckedUpFingers Definitely the Tachyon XC, in my opinion. It is shock-proof and water-proof just as it is, whereas you need a separate case for the Hero. It may not record at 720p resolution, but for the size, price and reliability, you cannot go wrong. Besides, the Hero looks absolutely stupid attached to a helmet.
