i luve wrestling but my practices got so boring...same thing over and over so i quit. but awesome sport. if i could solve arguements with wrestling matches. FUCK THAT WOULD BE AWESOME

Yeah im not arguing that tho, Im sure the kid may be descent by normal standards...my point is Nickerson was so above that kids level that the shove that Nickerson did at the end I feel was in bad taste not classy uncalled for unsportsman like...and its stupid cas its not like Nickerson has anything to prove by beating that kid.

Its not like he was even close to Nickersons skill level and the kid didn't give Nickerson a battle what so ever...so what's the point of the shove at the end?

Great wrestler doing big things at Cornell. Now is a national champ...Didn't care for that shove at the end tho...I mean you just tech falled the kid, completely humiliated him already and you shove 'em?

Is this really a finals match? There's another match going on next to it. In our state finals, it was only one match at a time. This could be semi-finals, or even wrestle backs for 3rd and 4th place.

Yes, that was the first year of 2 divisions. The finals for the other division going on simultaneously.

definitely unsportsmanlike and no infraction called by the ref, but then a kid gets hit for unsportsmanlike for throwing his headgear in the air in jubulation that very same day and loses the match on the call. The refs need to be consistent on the calls so the wrestlers know the limits.

In New York kids can start wrestling varsity in the 7th grade. Nickerson started varsity in grade 7, and he won his first state title as an eigth grader. If there wasn't a clear ruling on 6th graders and less, they'd have kids wrestling varsity in elementary school in New York.
