A quick analysis of the ASU debacle and a question of other atheists: What ways do you think we can help to bring awareness of atheism to the world? What ideas do you all have that can persuasively spread our message?

  • There can be no rational discussion with any "believer".

    Why don't you realize this?

    It is impossible.

All arguments have been chewed up and spit out time and time again.

How do you expect to have a rational discussion with an irrational person,

    i.e. "a believer"

  • I do agree that reaching a hardcore believer is nigh impossible. My efforts are targeted more towards education, particularly of fence sitters.

  • wow, somebody ate a college dictionary and shit it out on video.

  • someone ate a turd a shit out a son.

  • Religion is to subdue the massess.

  • I think one important thing we should do is work together to dispel some of the myths about Atheism.

  • Atheism is simply a proposition, not an ideology, and not a religion. It is meta-religious, in that it is a statement about religion, but the complete meaning of that statement can be different as night and day from one atheist to the next. Therefore it is difficult to purposefully promote it. Some people are atheists because of rational reasons, and others are simply angry at their parents.

  • I do not think Atheism needs to be promoted, any more than it already is. Anybody who passes highschool should have enough critical thinking skills to atleast question "beliefs"

If further convincing / arguments are required visit the local library.

Problems arise when christians think their bullshit should be taught in the classroom, then you should fight back....however...it is pointless. Christianity is big money, big business, it is a monopoly.... "believe it".

  • Dude, looks like you have declared war on any and all bags of Doritos! You're out of breath just trying to read your bullshit. Keep talking, it sounds like you're almost convincing yourself!! Best of luck.. and oh.... God bless! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

  • That's truly brilliant. Science does not try to prove the supernatural. It tries to prove the natural. You know why I don't like christians? Because they live like they have another life in the bank. My message is live your life free don't be afraid you'll be damned to "hell" or awarded with "heaven". Just live your life, plain and simple.
