  • Beretta 92F is a nice pistol, I even own one. But the weight and bulk is obsurd. My son as well as his military partners would rather carry a Glock17 or Glock19. All weight adds up.

  • lol at 4:18 i really thought u ejected a round, i freaked out, as u pulled the trigger earlier :O

  • I've got a old Beretta model 102 (.22) that looks just like the 92F. Its probably 30 years old, has been used extensively and still works great.

  • hey sootch, huge fan, is it possible for you to get hold of a USP compact? i personally love your reviews and i would like to learn more about that handgun.

  • I won't say anything bad about the Beretta M9. I carried one during my one deployment to Iraq and I felt good about it. In fact, I will likely get one--money permitting--simply because that is the weapon I carried to war. Some of you are right however; the armed forces will ultimately move to a more modern pistol/caliber combination, but that will take time. Remember, the primary pistol in use during the '91 Persian Gulf War was still the .45 M1911A1 -- fully 7 years after the M9 was adopted.

  • While they are nice pistols, their expected service life is pretty pathetic.

Many guns that are in the same price range, like Glocks, will go for a hundred thousand rounds or more with no major parts breakages, if any.

Our fighting men should have been equipped with SIGs or Glocks.

  • @aaronscrewme You mean Seal Team that killed Osama?

That was Seal Team 6. Reports said they had 226's....

  • @jblcva ST6?!?!? That's been deactivated for years now... And who said anything about them? I merely stated that there are sigs in service as the M11.

  • @aaronscrewme Not what was reported. Seal Team 6 had 226's

    not the shorter M11/228

  • @aaronscrewme We are all gun lovers. We are on the same side here...

Remember, divide and conquer.. Go out and buy a new Gun.

  • @jakkd07 Thanks for the info. But for my personal preference

i like the Sig. I also don't care for the 9mm round. I like the

ballistics on the Sig357 cartridge. I have 4 convertible pistols

and they all shoot the 357sig. As well as 40cal..
