Well, this song has always been a favorite of mine, so imagine my sunrise to scour YouTube and not only find that my favorite rendition of it is nowhere to be found, but also to find that one of my favorite Lee Morgan albums was nowhere to be seen. Thus I decided straight away to post some of my favorite tracks (not that this is a very large album, it has only 4 tracks) from Leeway. With that being said, enjoy the song!
P.S. As per usual, if you enjoy the song, please rate/comment

I used to socialize with Jimmy Morgan, Lee's brother. Early 80s it was. Who cares about that, but Lee Morgan as well as this Calvin Massey composition and for that matter racial progress in America are all topics which defy any one person. Enjoy this soulful little song- that's what we all should do.

i got this album a few months ago. it soon became one of my favourite too. It somehow arouses my interest in Lee Morgon's work. I'm listening more Lee Morgan in these days.

This is my #1 Lee Morgan album. Sidewinder and Search For a New Land are fantastic but you can hear Lee still enriched with straight ahead Blues. This whole album is one hard bop tune after another. Why didnt Bobby Timmons ever get the full credit he deserved? Every LP has that one X factor that makes it a masterpiece and Bobby is it.
