  • Didn't your mum ever tell you blokes if you haven't got something nice to say then don't say it at all.

Obviously everyone who watches these videos are olympic or world champion mtb'ers judging by the comments. Get over yourselves.

Youtube seems to be for knobheads big noting themselves on just about every subject known to man.

  • he is just demonstrating to other pussies how to brake downhill. just because he is doing a demonstration, it doesnt mean he actually does that everywhere.

if I were to demonstrate how to jump start a car, it wouldnt mean i always jump start it everywhere, i was just demonstrating that i knew how to.

  • who is this fella, is he a renown moutain biker?

  • did he wet his pants

  • @canadianroot Well put. I'd say there's a bit of both categories you mention, which was why I thought people should comment on bad advice regardless of the fact that this is not necessarily a nice thing to do. Claiming to know the theory better than somebody doesn't automatically make you a great rider. It's one thing to know how it's done right and another to actually do it. In my view, the main problem with this guy is that most of his riding is irrelevant to the points he's trying to make.

  • @VegetativeHorse I suppose that's right.....I've learned it intuitively.....and have the bruises to prove it. Which, I suppose, is why I look on here for videos that might assist in technique. If he's teaching technically incorrect stuff, I guess folks ought to comment.....but I like rubenmario's comment, which for me sums it up nicely. I guess there are a lot of kids who think they're the next world downhill champ, and they wind up taking the piss out of each other as well.

  • @canadianroot I hate armchair experts as much as the next guy but this guy really doesn't seem to know what he's talking about. Because mtb is learned pretty much intuitively, it's not unlikely that a guy can ride decently but when it comes to explaining how he does it, he messes things up bad. There's another video where he suggests putting ALL your weight forward in order to make a skiddy descent, which is rather foolish, so when he supposedly does what he was describing, he doesn't do that.

  • Hard front brake at 1:02? WHAT?!?!?! ......(Beginner bike rider) : Mhmmmm....ill practice this (goes down hill at top speed)....(hard on front brakes).....(wakes up in hospital)

  • Hey Stevie Wonder, time to pass the camera over to a real cameraman now...

  • That place looks so fun!
