A better book burning - Acts 19

This is my second video on the topic of burning religious books. It is in response to false Christians who have called for an international day of burning the Quran on Sept 11.

@apologiamixer Christ gave us a new covenant. He did away with capital punishment. We no longer live by the law of an eye for an eye, but rather turn the other cheek.

We are to love our enemies.

And since we have the Holy Spirit and because we have the promise that we'll never be given more temptation than we can handle, there is no need to tear down temples belonging to other religions.

His sheep will know the voice of the good shepherd.

@TrustinJC Loving our enemies might mean telling them the truth. The truth is what sets people free, however it may hurt their feelings as well. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He has not changed His nature or character, regardless of which covenant. Mohammed is a false prophet and people need to know that. What better way than to burn his lying revelation for all the world to see.

I do not agree, burning anything not Christian is a coward thing to do, it just demonstrate that we are weak and cannot be Christ like while all these material leading away from the true path are among us... In my opinion we can be as much as Christ like when these materials surrounds us if we are strong in the faith just as Paul & the Apostles and as you mentionned in Acts 19 these are non-believers who became believers & out of frustation for believing a lie all their life they burn them all !

@JCYTT1I3777 Before people become reborn, they will have saved up and accumalated a lot of possessions that are demonstratably of the devil. and many of those things, if kept, will tempt people and cause them to stumble. Protecting oneself from temptation is the prudent thing to do. What, for example, would you suggest someone do with a few boxes of porn magazines and movies? Should they keep them in storage? Give them as a gift to their adult children?

@TrustinJC Muslims must repent of the lies being told by the Quran. If they confess their sins He is faithful and justice to forgive. However, it no one will tell them that the false message of the Quran is sin they will not repent. Therefore they will think we all believe in the same Jesus, which is not true. Paul talked about a false Jesus and gospel and was not afraid to challenge such teachers. Burning is only one way of doing so.
