El Generalissimo

This is a parody of the opening speech of the movie Patton, staring Mrs Yukari as Patton (with the voice of George C. Scott). Originally this was to be the introduction to another video, but while I was editing this piece I began to feel that it would be better as a stand alone short. So, here it is: El Generalissimo!

Now for effects, I wanted it to feel like an old movie or WWII newsreel, hence the damaged film filter and black and white. In addition, I added extra foley to the video it have it sound more realistic. Therefore, I added the classroom noise, the opening door, the hand slamming down, and finally the whack of the chalk. Also, I think the lip-sync turned out pretty well.

There are a few inside jokes for fans of Azu So, if you have seen the series, pay attention to Tomo, the blackboard (tis also a Killroy reference), and who the enemy is these are just a few ;)
