Using ArtRage Stencils

This is a simple tutorial on how to create stencils in ArtRage using what one has painted on the canvas, or by using an existing image.

this really helped. I just got the software and i'm going to try it out when I have enough time to really get into it, but I'm a bit worry that its going to crash my computer for some reason? Does it take a while to load, does it slow down computers? Does it matter if its mac or pc?? Anyway, thanks for posting!!

No, there shouldn't be any sort of problems like that. I've only used ArtRage on a PC though, so I don't know what to expect from a Mac.

I'm not sure if 2.2 had the stencil tools. I think you can update from 2.2 to 2.5 freely, then the options should be made available for you.

ooh woops - I meant artrange 2.2 :S

The newest ArtRage available is ArtRage 2.5. If you're using this version, the stencils panel can pulled up by hitting the "F" key on your keyboard or selecting the "Stencil" option from the menu located at the bottom/center of your screen.
