In April, the Maumee River becomes walleye central, and anglers come
from all over for a chance to catch the tasty predators from shore,
when they come up the Maumee from Lake Erie to spawn. The technique is
simple enough. You cast a jig into the runs where the fish are and let
the current carry it to them. But some guys have it dialed in better
than others. Randy Hayes is one of those guys.
