Nice to be introduced by our friend Gary Davies and great to be back on TOTP. This song stayed in the charts probably longer than all the others combined and eventually ended up going Top 5. Co-written by the fabulous Albert Hammond, we always treasured this song and still love hearing it on the radio to this day.

  • Pop songs in the 80s are really beautiful songs. Unlike today's so called pop songs which are mostly messy ,not rhythmic and sometimes even noisy. Sorry to say

  • Beautiful song! Why does todays music sound so lame in comparison?? This reminds me of Breathe's hit 'Hands to Heaven'....

  • Richard Darbyshire is one of the best male pop vocalists I've ever heard - and "Gatecrashing" is one of THE BEST pop albums I've ever heard! Very distinctive sound, well-crafted, structured pop songs. It's a shame they didn't have more success, but by the time they hit, U.S. pop music had started its long downhill slide to lord knows what. Thanks so much for posting this!
