Aaah, what can I say? Beautiful vision, almost, perhaps Fellini-esque? Not crazy about the background music. Who is the model with the black hair who participated in this and the other video? Hard to believe this is Texas!! I guess you guys are the "bad part" of Texas as far as the bible thumpers are concerned. Viva Houston y que Viva el Tango!

Your film is spectacular - not just as tango or Houston tango, but as vision, dream, evoking the soul. It tells a beautiful story. If you have this talent outside of the world of tango, you have the makings of a filmmaker. Forget those who comment on the music as tango/not tango. The music is part of the story. I truly hope you will continue to make film. We will all be fortunate to see your next work.

M- this is absolutely breathtaking. The music is heartbreaking. I love it. :)

The song on this video is "Mi Otra Mitad de Naranja" ... composed by Glover Gill of Austin Texas ... and performed by the Tosca String Quartet of Austin Texas ... it's on their Tosca Tango Orchestra soundtrack CD from the motion picture "Waking Life" ...

Kudos to everything. The concept, the dance(ers), video and the ad..... Go Houston Tango
While I'm a huge fan of Austin based Glover Gill and the Tosca String Quartet (had the pleasure of dancing to them live at Lambert's two weekends ago in Austin...)....I am curious as to why you didn't choose some wonderful/original tango music from one of the many fantastic orchestras/composers from the golden age...? Great clip regardless...dedicated bunch of dancers in Houston to go get wet in Galveston...great work!

Thank you--the festival is about building a community; Glover is part of it.
