IDF Stories: The Caracal Battalion's Final Test

The Caracal Battalion, the IDF's only co-ed combat unit, is concluding their final exercise after months of hard training. This live fire exercise simulates the capturing of a hill from enemy hands and marks the soldiers transition into active duty protecting the southern border of Israel.

What I want to say: between 1980-1990 Arafat was not in Palestine. This is a time of the Hamas beginning. Israel has nothing from creation of Hamas (in this time). After 2000 Israel did not know what he should do. As for me-it is better to negotiate with Abbas (Fatah) and make peace with him (without Hamas)-Saudis peace initiative 2006 should be the base for negotiations. Then Hamas will be isolate.

The islamic Jihad was the base an Hamas! But in this time Arafat was not in Palestine and he had not the influence in the Palestine! Hamas begun the war against Israel ca since 2000! In this time Fatah (Arafat) had negotiate with Israel! You can see that a) Israel had not interests to deatabilize Arafat because he does not play a big role in this time! and b) in the time of the negotiation between Fatah and Israel both sides (Fatah and Israel) had not an interests on Hamas!
