A quick demonstration of how to create some LUNs of iSCSI using the built-in target functionality of Solaris. iscsiadm and iscsitadm are quickly demonstrated in this video.

  • @almkuzmin i am not sure why.. but i cannot even see the lun on the same solaris box.. i am not getting any error while configuring but iscsiadm add discovery-address -t enable does not show the lun

  • @sham27khan i tried that on a freshly installed sol10 (the only one in my network). FreeBSD's initiator discovered target without any problem

  • do we need the systems to be in a domain? because i followed your steps, i did not get any error what so ever however when iscsiadm add discovery-address, do not see the lun,
