Bisa Dewek (part-5)

A documentary about farmer-breeder in Indramayu (one of rice producers region in north coastal Java). How could the obtain that such skills? What are the advantages gained by being plant-breeders? The film will presents their stories. Yet, the farmer-breeders still face constrains and problems since they are not supposed to market the non-certified seeds as stated in state regulation. They also face the most recent government's policy in producing hybrid seeds, as well as continuing Green Revolution paradigm which relies heavily on high levels inputs. This film will bring us closer not only to the farmer's struggles, potentials, and talents, but also to the everyday problems they have in their life.
