Starring the AA-12 and the Saiga 12C. }:-D

Note: Killing Flo0r sandbox. Five waves of Clots to save up money for the AA-12. Afterwards, nothing but Scrakes, Gorefasts, and Fleshpounds (Fleshpounds only on the last few waves). Set for 15 waves total. So far, I've never been able to survive the 6th wave. I think I need to rethink my sandbox concept.

  • You seem to have a relish for ironsights in FPS. As do I.

    You know that there are still gamers that can't and won't accept ironsights in FPS? Example: the fans of Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

    When the last Wolfenstein was on development, I used to visit the official forum, and everyday there were complaints about the ironsights on the game.

  • @Xerxes1688 Were they complain that there should be no functional iron sights or that they weren't being implemented properly? A lot of FPSes these days have incorrect sights on the weapons or sights that don't line up with your line-of-sight. Like the SPAS-12 in Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat. Or sometimes, there will be waaay to0 much zo0m while aiming.

  • @IggyHazard They didn't want any ironsights whatsoever for any of their games, they wanted the last Wolfenstein to be like RTCW, no ironsights at all, just firing from the hip like in old FPS. They said: "Ironsights" sucks and only noobs used them. Ironically, the ironsights on that game were functional enough, specially if you upgraded your guns.

  • @xXbreakfastXx Sandbox, not mutator. I had it set up so there were two waves of 60 clots in the beginning so it was like a regular "zombie" invasion (sort of). Then come the bigger nasties like scrakes and whatnot.

  • Oh i miss the Saiga on the Complete09 mod...espcly when you change some files so it shoots all sorts of rounds^^

  • @IggyHazard Those RTCW wackos got stuck in 2001 in where most FPS were in Quake/Unreal line, it means: no recoil, firing from the hip only (except for scoped guns), bunnyhopping, spry n' pray, no reload, etc.

  • Also, I don't like this whole "perk" thing. It would be fine if they could make it make sense, but they make NOT make sense. How does a shotgun become more powerful just because a support specialist levels up his perk? I can understand a commando being able to reload faster than other character classes. That makes sense because of a commando's training. Or a sharpsho0ter having a steadier aim. That also makes sense. But weapons becoming more powerful makes anti-sense.

  • That would take to0 long seeing as how I mostly play STALKER and only rarely dabble in Killing Flo0r.
