For some obscure reason, this is one of the least known pieces by Guilmant (opus 41, nr. 5). I think it is one of his most beautiful.
As the pedal work is rather taxing, I chose this angle for the video to give you a better chance to see what your feet have to do.
Magnifique ! Merci de nous l'avoir fait découvrir. Guilmant a vraiment sa griffe, on reconnaît tout de suite ses oeuvres, il a dégagé un vrai style. Peut-être que contrairement à certains autres compositeurs, il n'en fait pas trop et s'attache à simplicité.

A really wonderful one. Gives a rather fast procession, I suppose :-) BTW, I am awfully glad, that there are indeed not MY feet who have to do the work, but yours..... and they do an astonishing work. Thanks for posting.

Good job..good pedal work too I might add.. even if I am an orgaist I like to watch pedal work of others.. enjoyed this piece and would make a great postlude or festive processionial..even a wedding procession.
