For some obscure reason, this is one of the least known pieces by Guilmant (opus 41, nr. 5). I think it is one of his most beautiful.
As the pedal work is rather taxing, I chose this angle for the video to give you a better chance to see what your feet have to do.

  • Magnifique !

  • Thanks for posting this. I am learning it for my Grade 6 and like most Guilmant, it is fiendish in places but what a tune!

  • Beautiful.

  • We used this for our Wedding Processional 32 years ago this month.

  • EXCELLENT JOB!

  • Very good! Thanks!

  • A really wonderful one. Gives a rather fast procession, I suppose :-) BTW, I am awfully glad, that there are indeed not MY feet who have to do the work, but yours..... and they do an astonishing work. Thanks for posting.

  • Good job..good pedal work too I might add.. even if I am an orgaist I like to watch pedal work of others.. enjoyed this piece and would make a great postlude or festive processionial..even a wedding procession.

  • awesome!
