Joe Brown hits the big screen in colour with the 1964 release of Three Hats For Lisa. He's supported by Sid James, Una Stubbs and Dave Nelson. It's a Swinging London romp as Joe (Johnnie) trys to help Lisa Milan, played by Sophie Hardy to find three typically British hats for her collection. Probably not too difficult, only she wants to steal them instead of buy them. Oh, and one is a coppers helmet!
Its about time that they released a Joe Brown double DVD with this masterpiece and What A Crazy World on it. When is he going to be knighted?.
