I had The Letter People on record and never knew it was a television show. Maybe I would have been less scared of Mr. G if I could see him and he wasn't just a creepy voice coming from my record player O_o

I remember we did a skit of the Letter People for our kindergarten graduation back in 1986. I still remember my letter and role: "Mr. G: gooey gum, gooey gum; Mr. G chews gum all day until his gums are numb" Takes me back...

I used to be terrified of Mr. G when I was in kindergarten! We had the blow-up Letter People in the classroom and one day I really had to go to the bathroom, but since the blow-up Mr. G was right outside the bathroom, I ended up pissing in my pants because I didn't want to go near him.
