- Learn how to play guns & roses 'sweet child of mine'. I play along with the intro and then show you how it's done - one step at a time. -
Just to settle some stuff - I made this video for my 8-year old nephew. I did not detune my guitar and play it one step down from where you would see Slash playing it. I'm 'finger synching' in the beginning to the GNR track - my guitar is nowehere in the mix. I use my pinky - don't use yours if you don't want to. The notes are still all there. I don't play the counterpoint part at the end of the piece - wasn't the point for my nephew. Additionally I was pretty hungover (not nervous).

its wrong the song is tune half a step down and the first not should be on the d string 12th fret not d string 11th fret
so he is playing it wrong and he is a really bad teacher

for everyone thats bitching, like jasonrchicago said, this song is played tuned down half a step. he is playing the same notes here cause he is playing the notes, wait for it, half a step lower :O great video man haha thanks helped bunches

the only thing that is wrong with this video is that he is playing it half a step from where its supposed to be the song is actually played in Eb Ab Db Gb Bb eb so its actuall supposed to start on the 12th fret on the D string aka D lol. but great job i just played it starting on the twelve. And for all of you who want to know what tuning that is the tuning name is Hendrix its just tuning ur guitar a half step lower than the Standard E 440 XD

Does it really matter if he doesn't play at the beginning? He still taught you how to play the guitar. Also, it says he's playing along with the song, not just playing it by himself. So he probably was playing, then added the song to the video. Gosh, you guys just need to lay off.
