This is the first installment of my 3 video series on setting up the Maya 44 USB to work with timecodes for Virtual DJ 6.0.1 I set up vinyl and CD side by side tp show the differences in the signal, but the setup is the same. enjoy!

  • if u have stanton t90 direct drive turntables can u just plug them in or d u have to get a sound card..???

  • @SLICKSKYPHA I don't know of any system that support the direct USB plug in of a turntable, though I have never tried.

    Make sure the Esi driver is installed(can be found at their site) To set it up correctly, use dual timecode, or single depending on what you have(drop down menu), select external mixer, and then go to soundcard,and choose the maya 44. Go to advanced and calibrate them as neccesary. Make sure to choose the type of vinyl you are using, (serato vinyl side a or b)

  • whats up my name is dj hard hitta my channel is djhardhitta1 on youtube ive been using the torq m- audio connective sound card with virtual dj ..it started out ok but every 10 to 15 menuts it unloads or if i start doing a lot with it like scratching and cueing it will unload, will the maya44 usb sound card work better for virtualdj than the m-audio torq connective or call me at 901-273-4758

  • Yo! Having major trouble with this setup guys!! Running Mac osx 10.5.8 with VDJ pro7

    Have serato timecode vinyl and MAYA 44. When adding aggregate device the only device that comes up is the maya44 as 4in4out not as 2 seperate ins and outs! i think as a result my timecode is coming out at a fluctuating quality PLEASE HELP i am going INSANE!!! What is my major problem?

  • @djtriple9 I tried this setup using Gemini PS-02 USB mixer connected to a HP laptop My laptop installed audio drivers on its own.  I get audio signal now with Virtual DJ and plan to switch to using timecode.

  • is a cd player also timecode?

  • when i start the control pannel it just bounces on the dock once and nothing happens and i need help. plase some one help

  • @jonathancvs line. if you do it on the phono there will be a horrible noise
