Meagan Varley, the pilot in the clip, is alive and kicking. She is afaik currently an F-18 instructor flying with the VFA-106 Gladiators.
You must be thinking of Lt. Kara Hultgreen, the first female to be a qualified navy F-14 pilot, who tragically lost her life in 1994 when she suffered an engine failure during a carrier landing and ejected while semi-inverted into the sea. RIP

Sorry, but I don't thats correct at all. Where do you find that women can take more G-force than men? Blood retention has to do with muscle flexors, and the more muscle one has, the better they are able to retain blood. Scientifically, men have more muscle mass than women.

I read that the female piloting the f-14 is dead, she actually died trying to land on a carrier, her plane went inverted, and she ejected at the wrong time, propelling herself either on the deck of the carrier, or on the water, either way, she would have died. It's sad.

@TheCobalt100 How funny since nature intrusted woman to carry and land humanities ass in this world. FYI every major military in the world is pushing for more women in the cockpit because their bodies can take more g-force than men and the next generation of aircraft will require it.

Hey, Any girl thats willing to go through the amount of training and schoolwork that it takes to do ANYTHING in the military or just in a regular job has my full blown respect
