Thanks for the History Lesson, I just knew The Rev was from Memphis and not a Motown artist
-
@backstageamerica Actually, Al was never signed to Stax. He recorded for the Memphis-based Hi Records. The late Al Jackson Jr of Stax's Booker T & the MG"s played drums on this classic and co-wrote it with Al Green and the late Willie Mitchell (Al's producer).

Until they clapped, I thought he was singing to a bunch of mannequins. What a bunch of lazy jerks to sit there like they were frozen.

@sibemol007 I feel sorry for you that you're so ignorant that you let hate blind you to flesh and blood commonality of all people. Keith Richards likes to say, "We're all the same under the skin."

To all who have called our President the N word, you in fact are the N instead. You should know the meaning of the word before you use it. The definition is "a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc.; a person who is economically, politically, or socially disenfranchised." Did you even graduate high school or make any contributions to your community or country -- you instead are the ignorant and contemptible.
Let's stay together with our President
