I met my husband online too, my family totally disregarded it, saying things like "I haven't dated enough people to resort to online dating" and that "I am a pretty girl and I am wasting my time waiting for him", well, we're happily married, still LDR and even though its hard it is WORTH IT. Who wants a woman who stopped loving her man because he was not close enough?Space doesn't determine closeness! love does! I miss hugs and kisses, but leaving my husband is never an option!

I was in one this Summer, he lives in Indiana and I live in near Toronto, 9 hours away and I met him of off YouTube. We video chatted on ooVoo and talked on Yahoo chat and watched videos together like all the time. I can tell you it was one of the realist relationships I've ever been in, and even though were not dating anymore we still talk and plan to meet one day. But Seriously LDR's are only different cause you don't see each other in person(or too often) You gotta be in one to understand ( :

I'm now in an LDR. And I have been in one for the last 1,5 year and I love it. We speak on Skype and iChat, hours a day. Sometimes we just have each other in the background, and do our own thing on each our end :P Then when we wanna talk, we just need to speak our mind out loud. Real nice =)

LOL!! Nice video!! I like the way u managed to say about.... LDR's are just like any other relationships, Relationships need things to be relationships, the need communication, and of course, two people.

It is hard, and like u said, it takes more courage, strenght and trust to build a real LDR... not easy, but possible!!
