I will show you the leaking delipidated subway just 2 blocks from this supersized speed build on what is now St. Ann's grave and Union Square subway is right by NYU Pallidium mega dorm and NYU supersized housing on the west side of Union Square as well as NYU on 13th St. 12th Street and down 3rd Avenue, a pink building NYU leases on the Bowery near the Bowery Hotel, etc.

Cooper Union is supersizing it's Science building right by a delipidated subway as well...and than moving out for 99 years. Higher education has become about mega real estate and at the community's expense and with University's taking advantage of their not for profit status to further exploit the community in every possible.

Who is policing higher ed?

NYU mega dormed the East Village to death.
Gentrification has become supersification and our infrastructures are in bad shape.


I repeated the "Dear 9th Precinct" part because it is like a recurring bad dream. The goal of the Bloomberg administration, Amanda Burden and John Sexton with other developers is to make this in to another Wall Street with a few token small buildings like a book mark to remind us we have been here but the area is to cater to temporary visitors, college kids, tourists and rich people that want a pied e terre on the Lower East Side. We are an inconvenient truth our very existence. All the mega dorms and hotels and superized condos line up with each other towering over the community and weighing way too heavy on our infrastruture.
