PlayStation 3 Home

Home (known more practically as PlayStation Home) is a community-based service for the PlayStation Network which has been in development since early 2005. Home allows users to create an avatar for their PlayStation 3 console. This avatar will get their own apartment, which can be adorned by items players can receive in several achievements. In the future the service will also expand, allowing players to have more sorts of clothing, as well as hold pets.[citation needed] When it is available, Home will presumably be launched from the PlayStation Network (PSN) category in the XMB, although we can only guess. This service will be free of charge. Sony is aiming for the initial download to be under 500MB. Home was announced at the Game Developers Conference on March 7, 2007[1] with a scheduled global public release for Fall 2007 (sometime during September or October).[2] During the TGS 2007, Home was announced to be delayed until the second quarter of 2008, although home will still have an earlier "open beta" release.

I was thinking about switching from xbox to ps3 and i was wondering if the playstation network is any good? also i heard alot of people say that the graphics were total crap, is that true? sorry im just a bit curious

@thesanlee15 well i think the ps3 is better but you said the xbox breaks the first month well iv actually had mine for five years and still in prity good shape:) but yes i agree ps3 is better i mean i cant belive i actually pay that much money for live when i can just get a ps3 and not pay anything for ps3 net:)
