You can purchase the complete DVD at http://www.themuggs.com, which includes a short documentary of THE MUGGS behind the scenes at Tempermill Studios Detroit called "Laying it Down"-over 32 min of MUGGS action!
"SLOW CURVE" by The Muggs (Music Video) Directed by Jeffery T. Schultz. The nationally acclaimed MUGGS of Detroit teamed up with award winning filmmaker Jeffery T. Schultz for their first Music Video; the result - non stop, multi layered contemporary visuals that align lock step with The Muggs retro influences, creating a modern psychedelic experience. www.SCHULTZSTUDIOZ.COM

Obviously this was assembled in the computer, but nearly all the lighting was created on set in real time for that analog, tube amp feel. I hope you fellow MUGGS fans will share this around - these guys deserve to be much, much bigger. I will be posting more on http://www.youtube.com/user/SchultzStudioz and www.schultzstudioz.com www.knagenfilm.com

  • Where did you shoot this? Great job.

  • We shot this in our Detroit studio on three separate days for each individual due to the complexity of the lighting set up. After we got into the edit we brought Danny back for some reshoots. THE MUGGS were great to work with.

  • Congrats on the DMA ... I wasn't around in the 1960s, but I'm a big fan of that era, especially the music/videos of Jefferson Airplane, and I gotta say ... you channeled the overall feeling/aura well. :)

  • congratulations on your DMA...you deserve it ~ hot

  • Swell. Kudos.

  • The jury's out still for me on the flying 2D FX and graphics though. I like the idea and they're cool. Maybe revisit them after the next software upgrade to take 'em to the next level. What are you running? Boris FX? 58 mm? Sapphire? Just my two sense. Not trying to be overly critical or anything.

But overall - I LOVE IT!! And I LOVE this band!! Come back to Wheeliefest 13 boys and tear Lake Wheelie a new one!!

  • Nice job guys. You really made the boys look like pros (and we all know how difficult that is! HA! *LOL*... just kiddin' :). Great job on the lighting and the delicate layerin in the edit. Nice to see everything in full up HD too.

  • Love this!!!!!!!!
