Star Ocean: Second Evolution Boss #12 - Magic Hand (Universe Difficulty) (Upscaled to 720p)

I kinda messed around when I switched to Bowman on that battle. Watch the zeroes fly. And yeah I went ahead and used Customize to make Ernest's Invisible Whip since his weapons available are kinda crappy compared to everyone elses'.

I had to go after Magic Hand first and foremost, because if he's left alone he'll fire this giant laser of doom that will most likely KO anyone in the center of the field (which is usually where most of my AI characters go). I was thinking about just running around in the corner with Ernest until it fires the laser and kills everyone before resuming combat xD. After taking him out I switched to bowman and spammed Poison Pellets since his AI went into the habit of trying to punch things to death again. Opera's AI was doing the same thing...I guess she felt hitting things with the butt of her gun was more effective than Tracking Plasma.

please respond 'cause i'm tired of trying 2 find out where a vid is that shows me how to get ernest and opera down to where i can cuss youtube out so please help. how do u get ernest & opera?

@losers497 First and foremost, you cannot have Ashton in your party if you want Opera and/or Ernest.

Opera: After you sleep at the inn in Krosse when you visit for the first time, do a PA and head towards the castle.  You'll see a man run by and Claude will comment on him having three eyes. Then, after the Tournament, go to the tavern in Hilton where you'll be introduced to Opera. Now, head back to Krosse and gain another audience with the king.

@losers497 There will be a new option about the three-eyed woman when you speak to him. Choosing this option will give you access to the Mountain Palace, where you'll find and recruit Opera.

Ernest: When you get Opera, head back to the forest in Arlia (I don't remember if this is done by PA or with everyone, try both) and you'll find the ship that Opera arrived on. After this, when you finish the Hoffman Ruins, you'll automatically enter an event and fight an easy boss on the way out.

After this is taken care of you can either recruit Ernest or dismiss both him and Opera.

Oh, I forgot. When you find Opera in the Mountain Palace, don't leave the moment you get her. You have to continue until you find a laboratory of some sort. I think you can't get Ernest if you leave before seeing the event there.

seriously....THAT'S what that Rena girl's voice sounds like...cause she looks 8 but sounds like a 35 year old woman trying to sound like a teenage girl...which is fairly common in the voicing acting world but still...

and OMG seeing you spam the fuck out of there attacks hearing them EVERY single time they do the attack is just soul destroying after the first 3 times x__x
