Let's Play some random games 4: Sopwith

Playing this game is like hitting your head on your desk... over and over again. What I start doing at 8:14 is probably a good metaphor for that.

What is cool about Sopwith, however, is how everything looks like a piñata and explodes like a piñata (including your airplane).

This game was awesome. Can't say one of my favourites because my favourites consists of thousands of late 80s early 90s PC games. Anyway, did you have a LAN party with LateBlt or something :D Anyway, found your channel via LateBlt's and it's awesome to find some games I had almost forgotten already. Keep up the good work and have fun playing!

I was in tears laughing, the whole time. This was just what I'd needed after a hard week. XD Oh MAN. Steering into your own bombs, flying upside down, running into cows and birds, which apparently make you explode, and digging holes by crashing into the same spot several times in a row

holy shit! :D i remember this game! another classic with the same graphics style was paratrooper. anybody remember that? funny story about that: my bros and i were playing it one day, and my little bro's math tutor happened to be over. he said "hey, i recognize that music!" then when he saw the game, he said "hey, i wrote that game!" apparently, the shareware version which we had had been zooming past the credits screen, so he readjusted it and showed it, and sure enough, there was his name!

Wow, I don't remember all the birdstrike (re: Eddie Izzard)! Murderous fiends! Yet another wonderful 80s relic. Oh lord, the frustrating memories. I have to say, fair hostess, I was laughing too before you even started. I knew exactly what you were in for. I'm surprised it took you close to the 7-minute mark before you bombed your own base :)

Bombing yourself reminds me of Battlefront 1942, where they have the bombs stupidly come out of the almost front of the plane instead of underneath. So, I have a horrible tendency to run into my own bombs a lot.  This should not be possible.
