This is a fan-based trailer I created for the Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange. The version uploaded here is scaled down so some of the images and music dont quite sync properly - but you get the idea!!

The reasons for the choice of music:

1) The emotionless, almost mechanical stylings of the drum and bass, coupled with the repeated lyric "There's something going on inside my head" seem a perfect alternative slant on the Clockwork Orange effect.

2) In an attempt to be original I avoided using the original score - otherwise I might as well have uploaded the original trailer

3) I happen to like the track and think it works well in creating a dark and sinister image (although the sync issue has taken away some of the effect)

  • I think the song without the drum and bass elements is

  • I have just dug out the original tape I have (wow nostalgic or what - had to blow the dust off it!!) and it states that it's written and produced by "dB7 for The Longmill Corporation - Mixed by James Reynolds at Roundhouse Studios, Saffron Hill". The tape originally came with a copy of "Car HIFI magazine". If that's any help!! If you manage to get a copy then let me know :)
