The 2012 World Off Road Championship Series (WORCS) season got underway last weekend at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Calif., with Monster Energy Kawasaki's off-road racers looking to repeat their outstanding performance from last season. Taylor Robert was the clear favorite going into the weekend as he had commanded the win at Glen Helen last season by leading every lap of the two-day race weekend. Armed with his new 2012 Kawasaki KX™450F, Robert came to Glen Helen looking for a second-consecutive victory on the famous Southern California race course. When the gate dropped for the main event on Saturday, Robert got a great start and moved in behind the leader. On lap four, he put his KX450F to work on one of Glen Helen's steep hill climbs to take over the lead and proceeded to check out. He collected the checkered flag on Saturday and took second on Sunday to secure his second-consecutive overall win at Glen Helen. Teammate Justin Soulé also got the weekend off to a great start, earning third on the podium on Saturday, and took fifth on Sunday to finish fifth overall. The newest member of the team, Bobby Garrison, proved his mettle going 4-4 over the weekend to finish fourth overall. After an impressive performance at the opening round of the WORCS, the Monster Energy Kawasaki off road team hopes to carry the momentum into the next round of the WORCS in Primm, Nev., in three weeks.

  • Kawasaki ad. Yamaha ads signs all over the place.

  • Awesome. :)

  • @F350JOHN KX's are for motocross, not these long enduro races, that's why they have to stop for fuel, even with aftermarket. KTM's are made for enduro on the other hand, and therefore they think about the fuel capacity.

  • I love those offroad videos from u..

  • Great vid, but I can't help but wonder why these Kawasakis have IMS oversized tanks and still need a pit stop for fuel... It's laughable how these modern bikes have such small fuel tanks (even aftermarket tanks). Only KTM has a decent fuel capacity.

  • kawasaki is the best of the motocross! <3

  • Nice
