@Dac719 Does the box read 30th Anniversary or does it say Anniversary Collectors Edition? If it is the latter than it is the 25th Anniversary Edition.

@Dac719 The mono version is availiable on the 30th anniversary DVD. Howver, you will have to go to the menu to set it for the movie as the stereo version is the default. I hate the stereo version as well and I'm only 18.

@oortichi1 Up until around 2000 or so, the original mono version of Jaws was on TV, video, DVD, etc. Now, it's this new stereo version of Jaws. There are a couple of clips on this site (if they haven't been deleted yet) that show the comparison between the original sounds the movie had versus the new updated sounds they put in later on. I guess you could search for something like "Jaws mono vs. stereo" and see what comes up. Trust me, there's a difference.

That's it! That's the original mono version of Jaws! Why isn't this version more popular online or on TV? It's always the "new" stereo version, which I don't like as much as this version.
