Grooming by female Black-horned Tree Cricket

While this certainly is not a good quality video -- it does show the attention Tree Crickets pay to their antennae. This female is grooming her antenna and the top of her head. The way they grasp their antenna with one leg is very similar to the way a cat grooms its whiskers using their paw. Watch as she grabs the antenna, pulls it toward her mouth, and methodically begins cleaning it using her mouth as it slowly works its way back to an upright, standing position.
