Frozen, frost biten serverly, many injured from the onslaught of the Communist Chinese Army attacking them, this song was written by Frank Gross about the ordeal him and his fellow Marines endured at the Chosin Reservoir and the trip to Hungnam Harbor for evacuation.

@mybrothersnameis I / we thank your father for his service. If you are interested in any artifacts of your father's being put into the Museum of the Marines, let me know. Last July 4 I delivered the life history and all Marine memorabilia from a Marine killed on day one of Peleliu to the museum. They will keep these things safe forever and many things will get displayed. Your father should be remembered, especially if he was with Fox Co. I am humbled by their courage.

My dad is a Marine....lost him Jan 1-10 sunrise. Today is a difficult day as it was the last hours before he passed. I have searched for something here to honor him but this will not do, not this song. My father was part of "The Frozen Chosin" Fox Co. He has cluster purple heart & more he would not mention.. hero. Shot many times, sliced front to back by bayonet & almost froze to death waiting for reinforcements. Frostbitten but they all were. I search for his face in these pictures. Try again

My Uncle was a Marine sniper with the 1st marines. 2 bronze Stars, 2 Purple Hearts, 17 days in Chosin. I love the blues, but, The Chosin Blues should have been a slower, less dance song in my opinion. I thank any effort to memorilize these Marines. But it was not how I would have wrote and performed it.

Once again innocent men die on both sides so that so-called leaders can play war.The Corporate U.S. is still sticking its nose in their business.The war there is still not over.The only reason South Korea tolerates the "U.S." is our money.Our troops are not there to protect South Korea,it is there to Keep South Korea from taking over North Korea. FACT!!!
