Our life-changing trip to Ethiopia to meet our daughter and some favorite pictures from our first few months HOME! We wanted this video to not just tell our family's story, but to give viewers a glimpse of our daughter's birth country, the Ethiopia we've grown to love. We also wanted it to show how adoption mirrors the Gospel, as God has made each of us His children through Christ. It's our prayer that our story will be an encouragement to those in the process of adopting, a sweet reminder to other adoptive families of the amazing experience of meeting their child, that it might help someone out there to understand the miracle of adoption, or that it might even inspire someone to prayerfully consider whether adoption might be part of God's plan for their family.

  • God bless you and her..she is adorable...i am a woman who has no children i can understand all this...love you.

  • What agency did you use??? Also can i ask what orphanage she was in? She is beautiful, and she fits right in with your two other gorgeous daughters! =)

  • Great video. We can't wait to go back..

  • Beautiful smile. happy ending. Looks like she was the most popular child when leaving her orphanage....So loved ,and yet to be loved more by her new parents. God bless you all.

  • We have been prayerfully considering adoption and feel drawn to Ethiopia. It sounds like now they may reduce the number of adoptions in the country by up to 90%. I hope and pray Ethiopia will keep that open.

  • This is beautifully done...thanks for sharing your most amazing moment with us & may the love shine down on you for all your days to come. Big hugs, The Shannons

  • as an adopted person I think there is nothing more beautiful than a family going to adopt a child. I hope to pay it forward and adopt myself. I still remember the day we adopted my brother. I was 3!
