This is an old riff I came up with years ago and posted on here, but decided to take it down. For those of you who remember it, this is the new 2010 version! Way better right?! I'm playing with Glenn as you can see, fun times. We used his POD X3 Live for the recording and his Sony HD Handycam. The lighting isn't the best, my apologies, but whatever, doesn't affect the audio haha...oh yeah and the drums we used EZdrummer Drumkit from Hell

You're hearing the audio recording and me and Glenn are just demonstrating what you're hearing. It's like any music video, obviously the band isn't really playing. A lot of my recent videos are pre-recorded like this. I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear my crappy camera recordings anymore.

@Zimx02 Believe me I know man. This riff I made actually back in 2007, I just re-did it for my audience on here who remembered it and liked it. I don't write this simple anymore, at least I try not to. Check my newest stuff perhaps? =)

@ChromeCelica00 That's not to say you're talentless since I haven't listened to much of your stuff. It's just that this is plain bad. Reconstruct it, fix it, throw it away. I'm not going to misguide you or tell you what you want to hear. There's a reason the metalcore scene gets such a bad rep.

@ChromeCelica00 I would suggest to not misguide yourself based on feedback. You know, Justin Beiber gets good feedback, and I've seen very poor covers with people praising the uploader for some reason.

Yeah, I listen to some core, but the point is that it sounds like the generic, uninspired fiddling of a talentless post-2000 band like the core swarm of a kid that just found how to play in drop D and the first 3 notes of a minor scale with another dueling guitar. It's bad.

@Zimx02 You're entitled to your opinion, but judging from the good rating and feedback this is getting, others view differently. And honestly I don't care if this falls under core or not, I listen to some core as well.

@ChromeCelica00 It could go either way since metalcore riffs are derivative of melodeath, and this sounds like something straight off a bad metalcore band.
