Actually, he's quite used to handling whips, this one is just 2 feet longer than the one they'd been practicing with for most of the practices.

I loved this fight, mostly in part to the fact that someone who was obviously hadn't used a whip prior to the Chess Match, Gabriel did really awesome. And the awesome song that, until I found this video, had remained title-less.

Never while on stage, but several of the cast and crew have scars from getting too close while they were practicing with whips. That's why you always pay attention when there are whips about.

I am just curious. In these performances, I have seen quite a few different characters using weapons such as whips or chains. Has anyone ever been inadvertently struck while performing?
