Spirit's Story

Spirit came to rescue after someone left her at a shelter, heartworm positive and pregnant with 7 adorable puppies. One of her babies left this world to forever wear Angel Wings on 6/17/11. Spirit raised her 6 remaining puppies, saw them off to start stories of their own, endured heartworm treatment and is ready to face the next chapter in her story. An old, untreated fracture caused her femur to be twisted and her hip is now permanently dislocated from the socket.
