@enlille Yes you can split it. But as far as I know the CX 400 is no longer available. Now you can find out the CX 430 but avoid it this is a bad power supply!

this psu is underrated, it can handle so much. I'm running a phenom 955 oc'd to 3.8ghz, 4gb ddr3 16000 ram, 1gb gtx 460 OCd, and an antec 300 case. This psu could of easily been labeled 450-475w.

HD4850 TDP = 110W so yes it will surely work! Even with a high-end quadcore!
